  • Dana Fowler

    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    I am a graduate of Snead State Veterinary Technology program and a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I have worked as a Veterinary Technician with Dr. Whitlow at Helton Plaza since 2008, and I love meeting all the new patients and helping them get well. I have two dogs of my own, Kramer and Mele, and a cat named Lux.

    I am from Killen and come from a big family. I really enjoy taking part in caring for the animals here at Helton Plaza Veterinary Hospital.

    Office Manager/Receptionist

    I've been at Helton Plaza for 27 years and have loved it. Before that I worked at Pharr Road Animal Hospital in Atlanta. I have loved animals all my life, and the clients and patients here are my family.

    Business Manager/Receptionist

    I was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. I am married to my husband Mike. We have two children, Ashley and Brad, a grandson Mason and a granddaughter Sloane, and two dogs, Dory and Peanut. All of my family live out of town so I enjoy visiting every chance I get. My other hobbies include cooking and baking for any Tennessee sport! Go Vols!!!

    I've lived with animals all my life. I'm a rescuer and have fostered both dogs and cats for years, and German Shepherds are my true loves. I have several dogs and cats of my own, and I love meeting new clients and their furry children every day. I'm happy to be part of the team here at Helton Plaza!

    I am currently enrolled at Northwest Shoals, but I'll be leaving for Auburn this fall to pursue my degree in Veterinary Medicine. I'm enjoying my new role at Helton Plaza and learning from Dr. Whitlow and the rest of the staff.

    I am from Scottsboro, Alabama. I currently am enrolled at UNA and Jefferson State Community College and plan to graduate with my Veterinarian Technician license. I have always had a passion for helping animals ever since I was a little girl!
